Get to Know Acorn

Acorn opened its doors in 2017. It is a Modern American restaurant with a menu that changes regularly. The same year it opened, Acorn was voted one of Next Pittsburgh’s Best New Restaurants.

Acorn uses locally sourced ingredients and focuses on simple, beautiful plates. At Acorn, you can expect comfortable, classic dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Acorn’s executive chef, Steve Paul, uses various global preparation styles to bring out delicious flavors.

Brunch Options

Brunch BagelsIf you head down to Acorn for brunch, you have several classic and delicious options to choose from. If you’re feeling a healthier dish with a bit of crunch, try the Overnight Oats. You can dig into steel-cut oats with dried fruit, macadamia nuts, blueberry, and toasted coconut.

Want something a little sweeter? Try Acorn’s pancakes made  with bourbon blueberry compote, walnuts, meringue, and local maple syrup. These thick-made pancakes will satisfy that need for something sweet and filling in the morning.

In addition to the delicious brunch and dinner options available at Acorn, the restaurant is also known for having some of Pittsburgh’s best bagels. Enjoy some during a brunch visit, or take some to go with you and enjoy at home!
