HEVY EQUINOX PERFORMANCE SPECS

We all like a bit of variety when it comes to our car’s performance. To help you customize the power output, the Equinox offers three different engines. No matter which you choose, a bit of brawn is guaranteed.

• Generate 170 HP and 203 lb-ft of torque with the base 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder.
• Churn up 137 HP and 240 lb-ft of torque with the available 1.6L turbo-diesel 4-cylinder.
• Go big with the 252 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque produced by the available 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder.

CHEVROLET EQUINOX FUEL EFFICIENCY

Obviously, the Chevy Equinox is no slouch in the power department. However, you don’t want that muscle to come at the cost of your fuel efficiency. The less trips you need to take to the gas pump, the better!

With the standard engine in this crossover, you’ll be able to maintain an EPA-estimated 32 MPG highway. However, if you’ve opted for the turbo-diesel option, that highway mileage gets a boost to an EPA-estimated 39 highway MPG.

CHEVY EQUINOX TOWING CAPACITY

Crossovers are an excellent choice for your next vacation. Their cargo space is superior and their off-roading capabilities high. Plus, if you need to haul any toys, such as jet skis or campers, they’ve got the brawn to do so.

The Chevy Equinox towing capacity really depends on which engine you’ve chosen. However, if you opted for the 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder, you’ve got the biggest hauling capabilities available.
The 2.0L engine comes with its own Tow/Haul mode. Press a button, and your transmission will adjust to help you tow 3,500 pounds of cargo.

INTERIOR COMFORTS

With 103.2 cubic feet of passenger space and 29.9 cubic feet of cargo room behind the second row, the Equinox certainly offers the space that you’re looking for in a crossover cabin. However, it bolsters this with a bevy of comforts and technologies.

Available ventilated leather seats add a luxurious feel to the cabin while imbuing seats with a bit of extra breathability (perfect for those hotter months). Combine this with the available 8-way power adjustment in the driver’s seat, and you’ll be sitting pretty every time you get inside.
To keep you entertained, there’s the available Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System with Navigation. This suite places an 8-inch touchscreen at the center of your cockpit, from which you can easily access your playlists, favorite apps, and GPS directions.
