2022 Chevy Tahoe Review

Looking for a roomy 3-row SUV? There are few better options on the market than the Chevy Tahoe. Learn more about the SUV in this 2022 Chevy Tahoe review from our team here at Baierl Chevrolet.

Chevy Tahoe Interior

Best-in-Class Space

Starting with space, you will find that you have the room needed to comfortably seat up to eight passengers across three rows. These rows break down into two front seats, three middle seats, and three third row seats.

In addition to passenger space, the Tahoe will impress with its available cargo volume. Beyond the third row, you will have access to 25.5 cubic feet of cargo room, perfect for luggage, shopping bags, and more. If you find you have larger items you need to transport, you could always fold down the second and third row seats. Doing so creates a best-in-class maximum cargo volume of 122.9 cubic feet.

The Tahoe allows for further cargo space optimization with its standard Cargo Management System. This will help you organize and secure different items you plan on transporting.

Chevy Tahoe Performance

Plenty of Power

Of course, as an SUV of this stature, it is critical that the Tahoe features a sizable engine. Under its hood, you will find a 5.3L V8 engine that comes ready to pump out 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Whether you’re heading downtown or are headed out on the highways, this engine will provide you with plenty of power.

If you somehow manage to run out of interior space, this engine also ensures you have the power necessary to haul a trailer. In fact, you will have 7,900 pounds of towing capacity to work with.

Chevy Tahoe Performance

An Easy Driving Experience

Behind the wheel of the Tahoe, you will constantly feel safe and secure, not only because of its size and weight, but also because of its impressive driver-assistive features. The SUV comes with quite a few, including a Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking. This system will work to monitor the roads ahead, able to detect possible obstructions and help you brake to avoid collision accordingly.

The Tahoe also comes configured with a Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. This system will also use sensors to monitor the road ahead, helping you stay centered within your designated lane should you start to drift.

These features, plus others, really equip the Tahoe to perform well as a family friendly vehicle.
